The President

Brian Lewis Brian S. Lewis

It is his experience, education, and commitment to succeed that more than qualify Brian Lewis to guide Cannon Electric as President.

His career began in the electrical industry as an Aircraft Electrician in the United States Navy. Upon completing his enlistment, Mr. Lewis attended Henry Ford Community College in the electrical apprentice program. After 18 months, a high grade point average entitled him to be recommended by the Dean for an apprenticeship at General Motors Research Labs. He completed this apprenticeship program in 1968 and obtained a Master Electrician License in 1969. At this time, he began doing business as Cannon Electric. During the past 37 years as President, he has led the company through both flourishing and stressful times.

Mr. Lewis has continually upgraded his education, through selected course work and seminars, in order to improve client services. Some of his course work included Accounting, Economics and Business Administration. He has also attended NECA sponsored seminars covering the most current techniques in estimating, project management, overhead recovery, marketing and management.

Mr. Lewis served on the Roseville Electrical Licensing Board from 1977 to 1979 and also served on the International Brotherhood of Electrical Worker's Apprentice Committee from 1974 to 1976.
